Afghan Jade Towers

Afghan jade is deceptively named, due to not being a type of jade at all. It’s merely a trade name for a type of banded calcite, similar to most “onyx” pieces, however it’s the name that’s most recognisable. Here we have 4 of these “Afghan jade” pieces, ranging from the more traditional greenish hue to a brilliant white.

Metaphysically, Afghan jade is associated with promoting emotional balance, purification, and wisdom.
